Outside The Crazy Horse

Following her attendance at last week’s Haute Couture shows, Dita Von Teese will remain in Paris to perform a nude revue at famed cabaret Crazy Horse.  Her two week run as resident artist will close on Valentine’s Day.

Dita told Reuters, “I’ve always had a real fascination with the Crazy Horse ever since I was a teenager and I found a picture of this line of nearly nude toy soldiers standing at attention,” referring to the trademark parade that opens the nightly show. "I wanted to do something more elaborate this time," she said. “Combine the Crazy Horse style with what I do which is classic American burlesque.” Because the club is far smaller than Paris’ other legendary night-spots—the Folies Bergère, Moulin Rouge or Lido—and with a tinier stage, reports say von Teese has had to rethink and revise her numbers.

She’s sure to wow the crowd no matter the stage setting. Susan was last at The Crazy Horse in July 2007, on a wild night celebrating the Haute Couture collections, and is sorry to be missing Dita’s stint there.
