Eva and Tony on their wedding night

Paris, love, romance and weddings are on everyone’s minds with the marriage of actress Eva Longoria, of Desperate Housewives, and Tony Parker, of the San Antonio Spurs, this weekend.

I am thrilled that Eva chose my book, Chic in Paris, for her bridesmaids’ gifts.   What a coincidence that I am in Paris at the same time!  I hope to see them around town this week using the red-covered book as their guide.

Donald Trump (Entrepreneur) and Melania Knauss (Model), Bethesda by the Sea Episcopal Church in Palm Beach, Florida, January 22, 2005. How gorgeous is the dress?? Made by John Galliano for Dior. I just LOVE this photo. It’s a young bride’s dream.

Tom Cruise (Actor) and Katie Holmes (Actress), Odescalchi Castle, Italy, November 18, 2006. This is a sweet photo – both are dressed in Armani.

Minnie Mortimer (Actress, Sister-in-Law to Tinsley Mortimer) and Stephen Gaghan (Screenwriter and film director. Wrote Traffic for which he won an Academy Award.), St. Thomas Church, New York City, May 19, 2007. A quiet and touching moment.

Update: the handsome couple tied the knot on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2009,  in the City Hall of the Sixth arrondissement in central Paris.  Congratulations!
