Ah, Paris! En route to the Givenchy presentation, I found myself in standstill traffic, stopped by a noisy manifestation near the Place Vendôme. But I refused to miss my appointment, so I hopped out of the car and made my way on foot through the crowd.

Once inside the venue (an old hôtel particulier), I was utterly “wowed” by the clothes on display. Fortunately, the intimacy of the setting allowed me a close-up view of all the details, and all the extraordinary workmanship that must have gone into each piece. This was truly a spectacular collection!
