Before I dash off to Paris and prêt-à-porter …

Shows and Clothes in Paris

Next week in the City of Light, after shopping with clients, I look forward to seeing the Yves Saint Laurent, Chanel, Lanvin, Louis Vuitton, and Requiem shows.

Can’t wait to see Fifi Chachnil‘s new boutique featuring couture gloves and custom-made cocktail dresses. See Fifi’s website for the most glorious little sexy nothings. Fifi Chachnil’s address in Paris is 68, rue Jean-Jacques Rousseau.

Adventures in Paris

I plan on trying the new restaurant at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs – Le Saut du Loup – located at 107, rue de Rivoli and the new L’Eclaireur restaurant on 10, rue Boissy D’Anglas. There is also, a new club under the Pont Alexandre III called Le Showcase that everyone is talking about, they will surely be hosting some wonderful parties.

As far as what I pack??? Do you really want to know? I take too much because I have no idea what the weather will be – I bring a lot because I like to have a choice as if I were home. But I also leave a lot of stuff in Paris too, because it’s too much to take it all back and forth.

I should probably rent or buy a flat, but I like staying in hotels and the Hôtel de Crillon is very convenient for shopping and the shows – it just doesn’t have a swimming pool!!! I know there are plans for designing a spa and since I was a former spa junkie and know a lot about other grand hotels’ spas in Paris, my input could be helpful since I also practically live at the Crillon!

The new spa by celebrity colorist Christophe Robin services also include pedicures by the famous Bastien Gonzalez and facials by Joelle Ciocco. Her products are sold in New York at Barneys.

I had a pedicure once by Bastien – he sometimes comes to Bergdorf Goodman in New York. It was great, and he is very charming. I also found a new masseuse – she calls herself Mrs. Chahnel, she is at 8, rue Clement Marot, +33 6 60 72 44 37 but she’ll come to you too. She was amazing!!
