Fashion is, quite literally, defined by change–not necessarily for better or for worse, but because shifting circumstances alter people’s perceptions. That said, Paris Fashion Week was certainly turned upside down by the ongoing drama surrounding John Galliano and his sudden dismissal from Christian Dior. Ultimately, the show went on–at the end of which, the maison ’s entire design team assembled to take a bow. As the French say, plus ça change…
