Paco Rabanne & Mal-Aimée Video Diary
In 1969, Paco Rabanne unveiled a bag made of metal plates that quickly became a must have accessory– Brigitte Bardot, Françoise Hardy and Catherine Deneuve were fans. Join Susan as she meets current designer, Judy Blame, and discovers a perfect bag to take dancing. Then drop by the Hôtel de Crillon to see Mal-Aimée, designed by Marius Borgeaud and Léonie Hostettler. Their fresh, graphic take on clothes with a “couture attitude” makes everything they make feel youthful–but they’re quick to point out, these pieces are for women, not little girls.
