Featuring an introduction by eponymous shoe designer Christian Louboutin, Chic in Paris profiles eight Parisian women selected by Susan for their undisputed tastes in fashion and their senses of self, expressed through their personal style philosophies. They share with Susan the addresses of the Parisian boutiques, couturiers and designers that allow them to pull it all inimitably together.
After years of travel to Paris and forming an exclusive personal shopping service there, Susan was encouraged by her clients, peers, and fashion colleagues to share her fashion insights more broadly. In 2006, Susan wrote and published Chic in Paris in homage to the French women whose styles and senses of personal expression inspire her. The book became a widely publicized and popular seller, with a second press and expanded distribution in London, Paris, New York and North America.
