I love to dance, which means I love great music to dance to. And as part of my seasonal Paris sojourns at the Hôtel de Crillon, I’ve gotten into the habit of listening to my iPod while unpacking. It makes the process a lot more fun, but it also slows me down–I stop when I hear a good song (which is often), and then I just start dancing! Still, it’s a habit I’m not ready to break–in fact, I’m really addicted. One of my daughters recently downloaded a lot of music from her iPod to mine, and I’ve been listening to it while I’m up late at night, working. It’s relaxing, inspiring and it makes me happy. I’d forgotten about pop music for a while, but this made me realize what I’d been missing. These days, I’m back in the groove and I find myself dancing everywhere –even in my kitchen.
