New York and Paris are two of the most enchanting cities in the world, and I’m fortunate to call both of them home (depending on the time of year). Of course, each city has its own, unique energy, along with all the essentials that make living between the two a real joy. Here are a few of my favorite places.
Continue readingAfter the Haute Couture and some business meetings in London, I took a little break and went to Capri for 5 days. I hadn’t been there in 10 years, but I remembered it being very charming so I was curious to see it again.
Continue readingI received a lot of wonderful emails, tweets and blog responses while I was in Paris last month. I thought it would be fun to provide an overview of some of the places I mentioned during my time there. I’ve divided them into categories — including Hotel’s, Restaurants and Nightclubs, Boutiques and Shopping, and Museums. Enjoy!
Continue readingFor the past 12 years my family and I spend the December holidays at Curtain Bluff in Antigua. This is the only time of the year when we can be together for a little rest and relaxation. I must be honest… it’s not my most favorite vacation- merely because “relax” is not in my vocabulary. I’m better in the fast paced globe-trotting mind set. This self-contained oasis is a blessing for those who do not want to move from the premises. My family is in heaven as there are a myriad of water sports and great tennis if you want to be active, and finally for me, a beautiful spa if you just want to chill.

Continue readingThis past holiday I decided to do something different for vacation. I’d never been to South America and my daughters and I were dying to go. We planned a girls trip to Rio de Janeiro and Buenos Aires – and I must say it was a very exciting adventure.
Continue readingAfter a divine month in France, I began settling back into New York last week. I unpacked, indulged in a few much-needed yoga classes, caught up with friends and on Wednesday night had the pleasure of attending a lovely FIT cocktail soirée at the Upper East Side home of decorator Charlotte Moss. I’m eager to share a few other recent happenings — a fun photoshoot, a Chic in Paris Go-to Guide based on my time there this summer, and so forth… But first, my report from Saint-Tropez!
Continue readingIt’s the hardest job in the world, being a mother: every day of the year should be Mother’s Day. But the calendar’s one “official” holiday–meant to honor the women who raised us–is coming up (May 8), so, thinking as a daughter, and a mother myself, I put together this list of unexpected gifts. I’d love to give my mother any of these things–and I’d be thrilled to receive one myself.
Continue readingAfter a day of London shopping, it was off to Dukes Bar for their world-famous martinis. Located within Dukes Hotel, the Bar is regarded as one of the best in the world – and is a landmark in its own right.
Continue readingThis year I had a change of scene for my Christmas Holiday. Being the Francophile that I am, I longed for the South of France experience that is St. Barth. It was clearly the right move for me for many reasons.
