New York and Paris are two of the most enchanting cities in the world, and I’m fortunate to call both of them home (depending on the time of year). Of course, each city has its own, unique energy, along with all the essentials that make living between the two a real joy. Here are a few of my favorite places.

After the Haute Couture and some business meetings in London, I took a little break and went to Capri for 5 days. I hadn’t been there in 10 years, but I remembered it being very charming so I was curious to see it again.

I received a lot of wonderful emails, tweets and blog responses while I was in Paris last month. I thought it would be fun to provide an overview of some of the places I mentioned during my time there. I’ve divided them into categories — including Hotel’s, Restaurants and Nightclubs, Boutiques and Shopping, and Museums. For the past 12 years my family and I spend the December holidays at Curtain Bluff in Antigua. This is the only time of the year when we can be together for a little rest and relaxation. I must be honest… it’s not my most favorite vacation- merely because “relax” is not in my vocabulary. I’m better in the fast paced globe-trotting mind set. This self-contained oasis is a blessing for those who do not want to move from the premises. My family is in heaven as there are a myriad of water sports and great tennis if you want to be active, and finally for me, a beautiful spa if you just want to chill.
