Join Susan in Rome for a whirlwind, two-day trip centered around the latest installment in the Ermengildo Zegna brand’s ongoing series of ZegnArt projects–in this case, the debut of a commissioned piece by Lucy + Jorge Orta at the MAXXI contemporary art museum. Guests enjoy a tour of Imperial Rome; a private viewing of the Vatican Museum; and, of course, a gala opening to celebrate the new work, Fabulae Romanae (Roman Tales). It’s an exciting event, and Anna Zegna, Gildo Zegna and their team prove to be excellent hosts. All in all, a remarkable trip that wraps up far too soon!
Add a commentIn mid-November, I took a fascinating trip to Tel Aviv at the invitation of Iris Zohar, the founder of 9ROOMS. It was an incredible experience, and Iris was a tireless guide during my five days there. I spent most of my time with her, discovering the wonders of the city–and I was pleased, and very touched, to discover how warm and welcoming Tel Aviv’s people could be!
Continue readingI’m a die-hard Europhile (and prefer the other side of the Atlantic), but even I have to admit there are some chic destinations on this side, as well. I was reminded of this last weekend, when my family and I escaped the brutal New York City heat wave to spend time at our summer home on Nantucket.

As always, the shopping, food, nightlife and people-watching were divine. But the major – and completely unexpected – highlight while I was there was a writeup in the New York Post. On Saturday, they named me one of the 8 New Yorkers who are giving the inside scoop on the city 140 characters or less. I love connecting with readers on twitter @Susan_Tabak, so this really meant so much to me…

While in town for the gala dinner and related festivities, Susan visited the company’s new store on Rome’s famous shopping street, Via dei Condotti. Join her as she helps Riccardo Pozzoli suit up for the big night.

Susan and Iris also spent a day touring the city, and you can join them as they discover some of the best hotels, restaurants, designers and specialty shops that Tel Aviv has to offer.
Add a commentAfter the Haute Couture and some business meetings in London, I took a little break and went to Capri for 5 days. I hadn’t been there in 10 years, but I remembered it being very charming so I was curious to see it again.
Continue readingNew York and Paris are two of the most enchanting cities in the world, and I’m fortunate to call both of them home (depending on the time of year). Of course, each city has its own, unique energy, along with all the essentials that make living between the two a real joy. Here are a few of my favorite places.
